traditional in the modern world

Souvi Street brings the best of modern Athens street food culture to the ‘third city of Greece.’

With deep traditions in growing, cooking and sharing the freshest, tastiest creations, our family’s newest generation are making a splash with their own modern take on what makes Greek food so special.

In our family, food means love

Souvi Street is the latest labour of the love of flavour from our third generation Greek-Australian family.

To us, food is so much more than sustenance: it’s the heart of family, the setting for sharing our stories, the source of laughter, vitality & the joy of time spent together.

To us, food is love.

Serving Melbourne since forever

We started out with a little milk bar back in the day, which grew to become the very heart of our local community. From there it was decided our love of flavour, fresh produce and cooking the tastiest food should give rise to our first family restaurant.

Today our family has four venues across Melbourne and serves thousands of happy customers deliciously fresh food every day. Check out Kumo Izakaya and Kumo Sushi by Kosta Skofus.
